The nation’s youth geared to race at Shell Eco-Marathon Asia 2019

Commemorating Pakistan Day, Shell Pakistan celebrated with the inspiring youth of the country, who will be participating in Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2019.  This year, nine teams from seven universities are representing Pakistan amongst a total of ~100 student teams from 21 countries from across Asia and the Middle East.

Need for cleaner air driving strong LNG demand growth

Strong demand for cleaner-burning fuel in Asia continued to drive rapid growth in liquefied natural gas (LNG) use in 2018, with global demand rising by 27 million tonnes to 319 million tonnes, according to Shell’s latest annual LNG Outlook. Shell expects demand to reach about 384 million tonnes in 2020. 

Shell Eco-marathon Asia returns to Malaysia in its 10th year

Shell announced today that Malaysia will host Shell Eco-marathon Asia in 2019 as part of its global Make the Future Live programme. Held at Sepang International Circuit, Kuala Lumpur, the Asia competition comes back to where it was first held in 2010, and celebrates its 10th year of challenging bright young student minds to design and build ultra-energy-efficient cars, and then take them out on the track in competition.

Shell Advance partners with Ride Pakistan to ‘Ride for a Cause’

Karachi, 13th January, 2019: Shell Advance co-partnered with Ride Pakistan, a support and awareness group for motorcycle enthusiasts, to ride for a cause. The event welcomed participation of all motorcycle enthusiasts. The aim was to create awareness for different social causes that included Aman Foundation, LRBT, TCF, Indus Hospital and Cancer Foundation Hospital. A parallel objective was to inculcate a safety culture while riding for participants and onlookers.
