Shell Pakistan expands retail network: new station opened in Islamabad

Islamabad, March 16, 2014 – Shell Pakistan today opened a new fuel retail site on Lahtrar Road, Islamabad. The site is expected to serve thousands of commuters every day who use this major artery connecting Azad Jammu & Kashmir with Islamabad and the rest of the nation.
István Kapitány, Shell’s Executive Vice President, Retail (designate), said: “Expanding our retail network in the country will help to ensure that Pakistani customers have access to Shell’s quality products in a variety of locations, particularly where commuter and commercial traffic is growing.”
At the opening, Managing Director for Shell Pakistan, Omar Sheikh, said: “This inauguration is just one demonstration of how Shell continues to grow its services and network to meet the fuel and energy needs of a growing and changing population in Pakistan. Our long legacy in Pakistan enables us to anticipate and deliver energy needs and priorities on Pakistan’s roadways.”
Mazhar-Ud-Deen, General Manager Retail, Shell Pakistan, said: “Commuters on this busy road deserve access to a variety of fueling options, including the high quality range of products and services that Shell offers.”
The site will not only offer CNG and motor fuels, but will also offer customers with comprehensive services like a tyre shop, Shell Select and a car wash.
