All individuals who are successful in gaining an offer of employment from Shell, whether directly or indirectly, are always required to go through a formal recruitment process.\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EPlease note that these communications are fraudulent. They do not originate from Shell nor are they associated with Shell's recruitment process.\u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003ESalient points of such communications are that they come from non-Shell e-mail addresses (e.g. from a yahoo.com address); the use of English is poor; at some stage, money is requested.\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EThere have also been scam email/text messages for notification of lottery winnings from Shell. The aim of these scams is to obtain personal information and bank account details for use in identity theft and to defraud people of money.\u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EWe recommend that you do not respond to unsolicited business propositions and/or offers from people with whom you are unfamiliar.
