Shell Tameer Young Entrepreneur Awards
The Award ceremony is a platform for entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 32 from across Pakistan to be recognised for their business achievements.
One of the cornerstones of Tameer is its Awards ceremony. It is an opportunity for these entrepreneurs to meet members of the business, industrial, policy-making, academic and entrepreneur communities. Awards are given to the best business start-ups; the most progress made in growing and developing a business in its initial years; and how focused the business is towards social enterprise, i.e. benefitting communities. These prizes are designed to motivate young people towards entrepreneurship as a viable career choice and the options that Tameer offers young people interested or engaged in their own businesses.

Of all the applications our team receives, 10 businesses are selected through a criteria developed by Tameer. A carefully selected panel of judges of prominent figures from various industries and business sectors choose winners from these final 10. The judges’ participation in this prestigious event helps encourage our young entrepreneurs as they gain insight into how these individuals and idols started and grew their own careers.
The next Awards ceremony is scheduled in March 2012. Tameer is offering a limited number of partnership opportunities for the Awards ceremony designed to provide maximum exposure to partners through sponsorships.
None of this would be possible without the support of the Tameer board, partners and volunteers around the country and we thank each of you.
