The Bright Ideas workshop educates students in methods to develop their business ideas from a conceptual stage through to implementation. The session involved students working together in small focus groups to bringing their unique value to the exercise and each entrepreneur explored their business potential through group learning activities.
The eagerness of the participants was reflected in the quality and quantity of interaction and questions that followed the session.
Several guest speakers were invited to attend the event, including Mr. Saleem Ahmed Siddiqui, Deputy Secretary Youth Affair Department; Mr. Imran Azeem, Manager Training Shell LiveWIRE; Ms. Maharoop Sheri – Management Associate - SMEDA; Ms. Ayesha Akram, CEO, Ash L’amour; Ms. Shahida Memon, Area Head, First Women Bank Limited, Karachi.
Mr. Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui –Secretary Youth Affairs; Mr. Abid Ibrahim, General Manager External Affairs, Shell Pakistan; Ms. Afshan Khan, Social Investment Manager, Shell Pakistan Limited and Dr. Naeem, Vice Chancello, Jinnah University for Women, were also on hand to observe the workshop. They took time to meet the participants and hand out certificates at the end of the session.
